These terms govern your use of PATRICK, an AI-powered assistant operated by iKanisa Ltd.

1. Service Description

PATRICK is an AI assistant for audit execution support including ISA-structured workpapers, audit planning, specialist desk support, AML/CFT work, and surge delivery for professional firms.

2. Professional Advice Disclaimer

PATRICK does not issue audit opinions, assurance conclusions, or legal advice. Verify all outputs with an ICPAR-licensed auditor or other qualified professional.

You should independently verify important outputs with an ICPAR-licensed auditor or other qualified professional before making material business, legal, tax, audit, prudential, donor, or operational decisions.

3. Acceptable Use

• Do not use PATRICK for unlawful purposes or to facilitate fraud, abuse, or professional misconduct.
• Do not submit confidential third-party data unless you have authority to do so.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, compromise, or misuse the service or its security controls.
• Do not rely on automated outputs without appropriate human review.

4. AI Model Disclosure

PATRICK is powered by large language model technology and may generate incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated content. Outputs should be treated as drafts or research support, not final professional conclusions.

5. Scope

• ISA-based planning, fieldwork support, workpaper drafting, and review notes
• IFRS, AML/CFT, donor, and regulated-sector support for professional services engagements
• Operational audit methodology support, documentation structuring, and quality review preparation

PATRICK does not replace engagement partner judgment, licensed sign-off, independence decisions, or formal assurance conclusions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, iKanisa Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of PATRICK. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda, except where mandatory local or supranational rules apply.

3. Data Retention

We retain operational data only as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, security, support, and legal compliance. Locally stored conversation history remains on your device unless you clear it.
